I am not for one moment suggesting that activism on the Internet will ever replace or supersede physical grassroots efforts; rather, Internet activism’s role in amplifying grassroots voices should absolutely be considered valid and crucial, moreso now than ever given just how easily bigotry is mobilized over the internet.
